Our Senior Pastor Dennis Sanders and his wife Giovy are a couple after God’s own heart. They serve the body of Christ with great passion and are both committed to seeing people advance in the Kingdom of God. Pastor Sanders has pursued God’s calling in his life since 1992 and we have been blessed to have him as our Senior Pastor at the Terre Haute Church of God since April of 2001. Their vision for ministry reaches far beyond the boundaries of Terre Haute. For them, there are no borders when it comes to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Pastor Sanders is an Ordained Bishop through the Church of God (Cleveland, TN). Through the years he has served on various boards and in various capacities within the Church of God in Indiana bringing experience and wisdom to his office as Senior Pastor at THCOG.  Giovy is a 20-year veteran of the United States Air Force, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance, a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership and is completing her Doctorate in Education with an Emphasis in Organizational Leadership in Christian Ministry. The Sanders’ share a beautiful family that is quickly growing. Their family has three children total and nine amazing grandbabies! And their oldest son, Joshua Sanders, is following in his father’s footsteps as the Senior Pastor of Christ Community Church in Brazil, Indiana.
